The Challenge

This clearance took place in 2019 and we were tasked with the ethical clearance of 5,000 seating positions over four separate sites our partner CBRE GroupThey commisioned this particular project on behalf of their client, IBM

CBRE are commited to being a socially responsible real estate services company. They acknowledge a responsibility of supporting and adding value to the communities where they live and work, as well as recognising their opportunity to minimize the environmental impact of real estate industries.

Therefore, they were looking for a socially conscious clearance provider to deliver this project, which demonstrates their commitment to their CSR policies.

This project supported a number of UK charities such as Fairfield Farm College, Scrapstore and several branches of homeless charity Emmaus. Through the Waste to Wonder School in a Box programme, containers were also sent to Kenya, India and Sierra Leone.

The filmed case study for the project also won the RESO (Real Estate and Strategic Operations) 2018 awards an IBM wide award scheme that recognises excellence across IBM operations globally.
